He is Faithful (HIF) Message Board is the offshoot of a Christian Chat Room that was in existance from 1997 -2005. As the admin of the chatroom no longer felt that they could supervise the chatroom in such a way that is needed to provide a safe, encouraging and inspiring place of cyber fellowship, it was decided to fold the chatroom but keep the message board running and at that time, to keep it closed to the general public.

We are now opening the board to new membership and would invite you to apply for membership.

We are a friendly, loving and caring group of believers from many denominations and backgrounds. We have supported each other, wept with each other through times of tragedy and rejoiced in each other's victories. We are a mature group of Christian believers, the average age in our group is over 40, although we have some chatters in their mid and late thirties. We have members from Canada, United States, Scotland, Australia and New Zealand.

As a whole, we are peaceful and non-argumentative. Anyone specifically joining our board in order to start a debate or raise up a controversial thread would likely be very disappointed and bored by us as most of us have been on the net long enough to know that we simply aren't at all interested in controversy and confrontational discussions. As we are chronologically older than many who might frequent other message forums we realize that the best weapon we have with deliberately nasty posts is to ignore them and to ban the posters from the message board without reacting to their posts in any way. The life-verse of our little community is Philippians 4:8 (NIV) and we strive to ensure our posts fall into the guidelines of this verse.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true,
whatever is noble, whatever is right,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable
- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy -
think about these things.

Typical posts on our board might be the sharing of a favourite scripture, devotionals, Christian quotes, inspiring photos, etc. We do love a good clean joke now and again and we have a special area for recipes. We are a fun-loving, supportive and laid-back group of Christians. While we have a board for member-only prayer requests, we strongly encourage our members to be actively involved with their local church and to look at the message board as a great place to visit but not their main source of Christian fellowship.
